Sponsored by the Inter-American Institute for Democracy and the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences, the launch of the book “Criminal Economies” was held at the Institute’s headquarters in Miami, which describes how narco-states and criminal gangs are destroying our societies. In the month of September, the authors will be here in Miami presenting the book and talking with economic and civil society leaders. It was a pleasure to present this important forum.
